Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist to join our team at NHS Grampian's Drug and Alcohol Service. This is a fixed-term post for 18 months to support service participation in a national research project. The ideal candidate will have good clinical knowledge and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a specialized clinical pharmacy service to support the Alcohol and Drugs Service
- Provide pharmaceutical support, advice, and training to staff and students
- Act as a role model and participate in audit and research
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care
Requirements
- Good clinical knowledge and understanding of the unique pressures faced by people who use drugs or alcohol
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a multidisciplinary environment
- Understanding of the importance of providing a patient-centered approach to care and challenging stigma where it arises
