Support Specialist for SEND Children

Aspire People is dedicated to improving the education of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across the Birmingham area. We are working closely with a local Special Needs school in the Northfield area to find the ideal staff that meet the needs of their community.
About the RoleWe are seeking a qualified and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team. This role will involve working one-to-one with a primary child with Autism, developing and nurturing positive relationships and providing individualized support to enhance their educational experience.
About Aspire PeopleWe are an ethical supply agency that prides ourselves on delivering a quality service to both our clients and candidates. Our goal is to help improve the education of SEND children by finding the right staff for each school's unique community.
Requirements- A qualification in Support Teaching and Learning is desirable but not essential.
- An enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
- Experience of supporting pupils with SEND is advantageous.
The successful candidate will be passionate about helping and supporting children with additional needs and have the ability to use their own initiative while maintaining a resilient and empathetic approach.
