Retail Sales Manager (Territory Sales Consultant)

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you drive sales and product awareness across assigned B&Q stores in the South East, covering Trowbridge, Witney, Swindon, Chippenham, and Devizes. The ideal candidate will be a sales professional with experience in retail sales or service, possessing coaching or mentoring skills.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Establish strong relationships with store associates, management, and customer contacts
  2. Conduct product knowledge training sessions for B&Q teams, including features, benefits, selling skills, and demo of products
  3. Continually promote the brand and product strengths to B&Q teams and consumers
  4. Identify opportunities for service/upselling and resource maximization at store level
  5. Maintain store signage, merchandising displays, colour chip, and colour card stock
  6. Utilize the CRM system to document sales calls and store visits
  7. Conduct events to promote products and increase sales
  8. Ensure in-store activations and business activities are executed successfully
Requirements
  • Previous experience in Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, or Merchandising
  • Experience coaching and mentoring others
  • Retail experience
  • Valid driver's license required for the role
