Join Our Team as a Loader Operative

Biffa Waste Services is seeking a skilled Loader Operative to join our team in Bodmin. As a key member of our waste management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient collection and disposal of waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect waste from designated collection points and return containers as necessary.
  • Operate machinery safely and efficiently, working with minimal supervision.
  • Work collaboratively with your crew to achieve collection targets, ensuring both Biffa and the local council are represented well.
  • Ensure health and safety protocols are followed at all times, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and your colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Team working and communication skills.
  • Able to follow health and safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Previous operational experience, preferably in a waste management environment.
  • Local area knowledge and the ability to work independently.
