We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacy Technician to join our team at the NHS in Durham. This is a unique opportunity to work in General Practice and contribute to the delivery of pharmacist and pharmacy tech services.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking medicine reconciliations of patient records/prescribing in line with practice protocols. You will also support patients to get the best from their medicines by switching medications to agreed and approved protocols.

You will work closely with clinical pharmacists to contribute to Structures Medication Reviews (SMRs) and improve patient safety. With your skills and knowledge around acute and repeat prescribing processes, you will play a vital role in managing patients on site.

Main Responsibilities
  • Undertake medicine reconciliations of patient record/prescribing in line with practice protocols
  • Support patients to get the best from their medicines by switching medications to agreed and approved protocols
  • Contribute to Structures Medication Reviews (SMRs) in collaboration with clinical pharmacists

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum. We offer a competitive salary package, which includes a pension scheme, annual leave, and training opportunities.
