At Carbon60, we are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Quality Specialist to join our team in Leeds. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading engineering leader, contributing to the quality and success of our operations.

The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

This Supply Chain Quality Specialist will be responsible for inspection of suppliers, supplier kick-off meetings, supplier selection and development, completion of full dimensional inspections, and utilizing knowledge of engineering drawings and P&ID.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inspection of Suppliers: Conduct regular inspections of suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  2. Supplier Kick-off Meetings: Attend meetings with suppliers to discuss their quality systems and processes.
  3. Supplier Selection and Development: Evaluate and select suitable suppliers based on their quality performance and capabilities.
  4. Completion of Full Dimensional Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of products or materials to ensure they meet quality specifications.
  5. Knowledge of Engineering Drawings and P&ID: Utilize technical knowledge to interpret engineering drawings and P&ID diagrams.
Qualifications and Experience Required

To succeed as a Supply Chain Quality Specialist, you will need:

  • An engineering apprenticeship or qualifications.
  • Experience in inspection and industry practices.
  • Pump or rotating equipment experience would be highly desirable.
  • NDT, CSWIP, NACE, or CompEx certification.
