Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team as part of our global operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving best practice HR practices and behaviours across the organisation, supporting the GM onboarding process, and contributing to Group HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Meet the operational needs of the leadership team and colleagues by instilling best practice HR practices and behaviours consistent with company values.
  2. Support the GM onboarding and take an active role in the development of a high-performing leadership team, proactively partnering with managers, coaching, and developing leadership skills.
  3. Deliver and embed core people initiatives into the business, contributing to and participating in initiatives and projects at Group HR level.
  4. Plan and execute operational and strategic HR activity - performance management, remuneration, talent management, recruitment, inclusion, engagement, global grading, and HRIS.
  5. Provide advice to Senior Management on HR policies and procedures, employment law, and support/counsel management in practical application and interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
  6. Provide line managers with advice and practical support in respect of performance, behaviour, capability, and to manage more complex ER cases.
  7. Work effectively with a shared HR administration team and central Group HR Functions, while working as part of the EMEA region within the Global Supply Chain division.
  8. Lead union relationship management in partnership with UK Supply GM and Ops manager.
  9. Partner with the GM and leadership team in driving a High Performance Culture and CI mindset, where all parts of the organisation can feel included, valuable, and engaged.
  10. Embrace new digital HR systems, identifying and deploying better ways of working in the future.
Requirements
  • CIPD Qualified
  • Strong track record as a HR Manager and Business Partner, preferably within a Global, matrixed Manufacturing organisation.
  • Broad knowledge of HR best practice including Employee Relations, Engagement, Reward, Resourcing, Talent, and Development, Coaching on Leadership, and Employment Law.
  • Change management experience and ability to deliver and support organisational change.

An attractive salary of up to £85,000 per annum (dependent on experience) with additional benefits including car allowance and bonus. This is a permanent, full-time position based on site in Cheltenham, working 4 days a week with one day from home.
