Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Specialist for meat processing. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our meat products, working closely with the production team to implement quality control measures and maintain compliance with food safety standards.

About the Position:
This is a full-time position requiring a flexible approach to work on a rotating shift schedule from 5pm to 1am, Sunday to Friday, with one fixed day off on Saturdays. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement quality control procedures
• Verify product labels and report any non-conforming items
• Collect, store, and analyze shelf-life samples
• Monitor product, sterilizer, and fridge air temperatures
• Compile reports
• Ensure adherence to environmental standards in production areas

Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of customer specifications and food hygiene standards, with excellent IT skills and the ability to work independently as part of a team. A reliable and flexible attitude is essential for this role.

Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is £37,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
