About the Job:

  • This role involves designing and developing airframe structures using advanced materials such as composites and metals.
  • You will work closely with our Systems Integration team to ensure that the designed structure is considerate of systems routing needs.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of Aero structures, Wing, Empennage, and Fuselage, as well as GD&T and tolerance stack-up.
  • Experience with honeycomb and metallic materials and manufacturing processes is also essential.
  • You will be responsible for defining design solutions for new components/assemblies and modifications to existing components according to cost, weight, quality, manufacturability, serviceability, and performance.
  • You will prepare drawings and other engineering data required for the manufacturing of the product and data submittal to the customer.
  • You will produce ECNs as required to support manufacturing, customers, quality, and certification.
  • You will ensure own and teams' quality of deliveries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • At least 6-10 years of experience in executing design activities.
  • Excellent knowledge of Aero structures, Wing, Empennage, and Fuselage.
  • GD&T and tolerance stack-up expertise.
  • Experience with honeycomb and metallic materials and manufacturing processes.
  • CATIA V5 proficiency.
  • Ability to work effectively within an integrated project team.
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills.

  • Dassault 3D Experience.
  • Microsoft Office and Teams.
  • Product Lifecycle Management (Windchill).
