Chef de Partie (Sponsored Skilled Worker Visa)
The Cavalry is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team in beautiful North Wales. As a talented and ambitious chef, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our restaurants.
About the Role:You will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring that all meals are served to the highest standards. Collaborating closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will contribute to menu planning, manage your section efficiently, and assist with training junior kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare, cook, and present dishes in accordance with The Cavalry's high standards.
- Menu Development: Assist with menu development and ensure that all dishes maintain consistency and quality.
- Section Management: Manage your section efficiently during service, ensuring a smooth flow of food preparation and timely delivery.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and communicate with the Head Chef to ensure proper ingredient sourcing and inventory management.
- Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organised work area, following all health and safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive working environment.
- Junior Staff Support: Provide guidance and support to junior kitchen staff, fostering their development and growth.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role within a reputable establishment (2 years).
- Culinary Knowledge: Knowledge of various cooking techniques and culinary traditions.
- Pressure Handling: Ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
