About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Adult Psychotherapist to join our team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our mental health services, you will play a vital role in delivering specialist psychodynamic psychotherapy to individuals and groups, and providing expert advice and clinical supervision to other therapists.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver specialist psychodynamic psychotherapy to individuals and groups, assessing suitability for treatment and providing expert advice and clinical supervision to other therapists.
  • Support teaching and training within the service, including introductory and intermediate levels, and provide supervision and consultation on therapeutic work undertaken across the Trust.
  • Plan and provide clinical seminars on aspects of psychodynamic psychotherapy to clinicians undertaking training attachments to the service, and lead other teaching and training activities such as workshops, conferences, and lectures.

Requirements
  • Experience of delivering psychoanalytic psychotherapy in NHS secondary care mental health services.
