Damage Control Trainer

As a Damage Control Trainer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality training to Royal Navy personnel. Your expertise will help students develop the skills and knowledge needed to respond effectively to damage control situations.

The Damage Repair Instructional Unit (DRIU) is a state-of-the-art training facility that simulates real-world damage control scenarios. You will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs that meet the needs of our students, with a focus on developing their theoretical and practical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver training programs for Damage Control Teams
  • Develop and maintain training materials and resources
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to students
  • Maintain the training area and equipment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a teaching or training role
  • Confident communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in the maritime sector (military or civilian)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, including PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in hot and cold conditions
  • Previous experience in the Royal Navy is an advantage
