Job Title: Project Manager - Prison Construction and Renovation

We are seeking a dedicated construction Project Manager with public sector experience to join our team at Government Facility Services Ltd.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work on prison construction and renovation projects. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects, at different stages of development, across a range of disciplines and establishments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project budgets from £50,000 to around £500,000
  • Experience in CDM 2015 regulations and awareness of Building Safety Act 2023 and relevant duty holdings
  • Current CITB SMSTS certification
  • Manage project teams and stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • 3 years managerial and technical experience in project delivery for construction and renovation works
  • Public, prison sector, defence or similar experience preferred
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills
