About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Psychiatrist to join our team as a Locum Consultant in Rehabilitation Psychiatry. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our established and well-run services, providing care to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise and leadership in the care of patients, including through ward round reviews, CPA, MHA, and MCA frameworks.
  • Support rehabilitation services to maintain a strong recovery focus, including at transition points along the rehabilitation pathway.
  • Participate in collaborative medical cover arrangements, including appropriate medical cover for extended hours/on call.

Requirements
  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
  • Approved clinician status or able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
