Commercial Assistant

Shearwater Marine Services Ltd is a leading diving and marine engineering contractor based in Scotland, UK. We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support project managers and engineers with commercial aspects of multiple projects.
• Manage costs across the business, working closely with the supply chain and clients.
• Provide bid support for prequalification and tender packages.
• Manage subcontractor supplier accounts, ensuring financial and contractual compliance.
• Monitor subcontractors against project programmes and negotiate final accounts.
• Complete measurements and valuations of work executed, ensuring compliance with contract conditions.
• Ensure payments to subcontractors and suppliers are made in accordance with terms and cash targets.
• Ensure commercial compliance of current contracts, protecting the company's position.
• Pricing work packages and cost forecasting.

Requirements:

• Degree-qualified or working towards a degree.
• Ideally, previous experience with NEC contracts.
