Job DetailsSenior Planner, North London - UK South Build Division

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to support our UK Build Division in the South. The successful candidate will work closely with the management team to plan and programme design, procurement, and construction activities. Key responsibilities include leading the programme and planning management for the team in the preconstruction and construction phases, developing regular reports to feedback on progress and performance, and collaborating with others to drive planning and programme management duties.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Report back to the Regional Planner on the current programme position on all projects, providing weekly and monthly updates.
  2. Conduct Performance Development Plans (PDPs) with assistant planners, driving actions and activities identified in individual development plans.
  3. Lead and coordinate planning and programme management duties in the preconstruction process.
  4. Lead and coordinate planning and programme management duties on site.
  5. Contribute to the assessment of programme and entitlements under the contract, coordinating outputs with the management team.
  6. Lead input to programme reporting, providing weekly and monthly updates as required.
  7. Report the programme position at the monthly contract review meeting.
Qualifications
  1. Relevant degree or diploma.
  2. Advanced Asta Powerproject Training - Progress Analysis & S-curve reporting.
  3. Advanced Primavera P6 Training - Managing costs & resources.
  4. Desirable: Stadium experience.
  5. Advanced contract awareness - Understanding JCT and NEC forms of contract.
  6. Extensive knowledge of UK and EU legal framework, particularly contract management.
