Job SummaryThe successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver individualized support to students, enabling them to access learning and maximize their academic, social, and emotional potential.
Responsibilities- Support students with additional needs in lessons, small groups, and one-to-one settings
- Assist teachers in creating a purposeful, orderly, and supportive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and other support staff
- Supervise students during breaks and lunchtimes
- Maintain accurate records and observations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with young children, preferably in an educational setting
- Knowledge of child development and the ways in which children learn
- Understanding of behaviour management strategies and equal opportunities
- Ability to work effectively with guidance and show initiative
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
This is a salaried position with a competitive salary of £23,348-£25,169 per annum, depending on experience. The role also offers a range of benefits, including enhanced DBS clearance and access to professional development opportunities.
