About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly collaborative and dynamic team, where you'll have the chance to make a real impact on our financial performance. As a Senior Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for preparing and coordinating the management accounts, as well as reviewing and challenging the Group's balance sheet reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and coordination of management accounts on a monthly basis
  • Review and challenge of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial control and accuracy
  • Management of SAP general ledger alterations, including new account codes and cost centres
  • Contribution to the UK external audit to ensure an efficient process with minimal management letter points
  • Support to international finance teams with local filings and account production
  • Reconciliation of reserves by legal entity to ensure accurate statutory adjustments
  • Management and development of accountants and assistant accountants within the Financial Control team

Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge of FRS102 and excellent financial control experience
  • Professionally qualified accountant with industry experience
  • Partnership and international experience preferred but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
