Purpose of the Role
To support the Wholesale Lending department with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution. The successful candidate will utilize their lending technical expertise to drive efficiency and effectiveness in the bank's lending operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the Wholesale Lending team with day-to-day initiatives, including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
- Monitor the bank's lending operations to ensure they are conducted in an efficient and effective manner, and comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate Wholesale Lending processes.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for change in Wholesale Lending processes.
- Develop and implement Wholesale Lending procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Develop reports and presentations on Wholesale Lending performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to implement best practices in Wholesale Lending Services.
- Participate in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Lending efficiency and effectiveness.
Vice President Expectations
- Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management, on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment.
- Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
- Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work the team does.
