Finance Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team at Atkinson Moss. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for leading the accounting team and ensuring the smooth and accurate month-end and forecast process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the month-end and year-end accounting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and implement consistent financial controls and processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Review and control the balance sheet, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for.
  • Analyze and control overhead costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Partner with other business areas to ensure accurate and timely financial information is provided.
  • Prepare statutory accounts for specific legal entities, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Lead and manage a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.
  • Support the wider business-facing finance team with timely and accurate financial information.
