KennedyPearce Consulting is hiring a Head of Indirect Taxes to spearhead their tax strategy in a dynamic media agency setting. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for leading the Tax Team in achieving exceptional results in indirect tax compliance and international direct taxes.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee the preparation of UK and international direct tax returns, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Implement efficient information flows between Finance and external advisors, promoting a culture of transparency and collaboration.
  • Work closely with external advisors to develop and refine tax accounting provisions for financial statements, interacting with UK and US audit teams as required.
  • Calculate and manage quarterly UK corporation tax payments on account, closely monitoring group relief position and ownership of UK tax account.
  • Spearhead the oversight of tax compliance obligations and filings for international entities, guaranteeing timely and precise submissions.
  • Collaborate with Finance to integrate Transfer Pricing policies and calculations, identifying areas for improvement and process optimizations.
  • Lead the development and enhancement of Senior Accounting Process controls and processes, working closely with Finance and other stakeholders to reinforce tax accounting practices.
  • Collect and analyze data in response to tax audits and enquiries, providing comprehensive documentation and insights.
  • Prepare and present management accounting tax provisions, offering liaison support with Finance Teams in the US, ensuring alignment and coordination.

This role demands significant experience in indirect tax, preferably within a large multinational or tax accounting advisory firm. Your expertise will be vital in driving KennedyPearce Consulting's success in tax compliance and governance.

The expected salary range for this position is £70,000 - £90,000 per year, dependent on qualifications and experience.
