Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Educational Psychology Consultant to join our team in the South East of England. As an Educational Psychology Consultant, you will conduct educational psychology assessments to provide statutory advice and contribute to improving outcomes for vulnerable children.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete educational psychology assessments for children and young people to inform Education, Health, and Care (EHC) needs advice within set timescales.
- Collaborate with parents, schools, early years settings, and other professionals to develop shared understanding and achieve positive outcomes.
- Provide evidence-based recommendations to promote inclusive practice and equitable access to education.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Qualified status approved by the British Psychological Society (BPS) in Educational and Child Psychology (or equivalent).
- A recognised postgraduate qualification in Educational and Child Psychology.
- Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Salary: Competitive daily rate (£80-£120)
