As a key member of the Bank of China's General Administration department, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellent general administrative services to the Bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing the work and resources required for the Bank's various digital transformation projects, including the Document Management System Project. You will also be responsible for coordinating with key departments and stakeholders to develop system functionalities in line with Head Office policies, Bank of China (UK) Limited (BOC UK) Archive Management Policy, GDPR, and local regulations and requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analysing system requirements of key departments
  • Liaising with all stakeholders, including different departments
  • Researching and analysing systems, including digital document management systems in the current market, to develop the Bank's systems
  • Drafting project plans when required
  • Drafting proposals for new and existing systems for IT Centre Europe and Head Office for consideration
  • Evaluating and assessing systems from different vendors and selecting the system based on business requirements
  • Developing interfaces of the system and managing data integration
  • Collaborating with relevant departments to review information management policies and strategies, including document retention and records management

Requirements include:

  • Degree educated in Banking, Information Management, or other equivalent
  • Project management experience and related qualifications
  • Experience in the development of document management systems or OA systems
  • Good awareness and understanding of compliance regulatory requirements
  • Ability to form good relationships within the department and the wider organisation
  • Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Team player
