Metallurgical Coatings Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Metal Finishing Technician to join our team in Ramsgate. The ideal candidate will have experience in engineering or metal finishing, preferably with previous aviation experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Operate electroplating equipment to coat aircraft components using various processes.
  
• Monitor and manage stock levels of chemicals and consumables.
  
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly quality control checks to ensure high-quality finishes.
  
• Maintain plant equipment and adhere to the 5S standard.
  
• Follow quality standards and company guidelines, as well as environmental, health, and safety protocols.
  

Requirements:

• 
  
• Proven experience in metal finishing or engineering.
  
• Prior aviation experience is highly desirable.
  
• Proficient computer user.
  

The estimated salary for this position is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
