What will you be doing?

The Industrial Maintenance Lead will oversee daily operations on our site, managing engineers during their shifts with flexibility to adjust to changing situations and exceptional maintenance needs. This role involves:

Key Objectives
  • Overall responsibility for sitewide asset reliability.
  • Ensuring first-time fixes and adhering to quality standards for PM and remedial activities.
  • Controlling and escalating the Tier 1 board system to ensure accurate CMMS notifications.
  • Identifying and planning maintenance jobs using CMMS, tier boards, and action trackers.
  • Gathering quotes and procuring materials necessary for maintenance tasks.
  • Leading daily meetings with the team to discuss and prioritize ongoing or future activities.
  • Maintaining workshop facilities according to world-class organization standards.
  • Ensuring CMMS usage by the team.
  • Assigning specific duties to the team through CMMS.
  • Assisting with internal and external audits.
  • Creating a metrics pack from CMMS to display department performance.
Compliance
  • Adhere to Company compliance obligations, policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Report any compliance concerns, issues, or failures.
  • Participate in training as required.
Essential Requirements
  • Formal Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering subject.
  • 5+ years of multi-skilled engineering experience.
  • Experience in managing shift-based engineers.
  • Advanced knowledge of CMMS systems.

We estimate the salary range for this position to be between £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and location.
