This role sits within our Meals division, where we strive to make every meal moment special. We produce over 500 different products in our 5 sites, from ready meals to iced fingers.

We put our customers at the heart of everything we do. As a key member of our engineering team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns, providing a high level of service to minimise downtime and ensure smooth factory production.
  • Undertaking planned maintenance work to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
  • Working on various projects, such as commissioning new equipment and upgrading existing kit.
  • Proactively looking for new and improved ways of working to drive performance and reliability.
  • A competitive salary of around £55,000 - £65,000 per annum is on offer for this challenging position.
About You
  • An apprentice trained Maintenance Engineer with either an electrical or mechanical bias.
  • Ideally from a food manufacturing background, but we welcome applications from experienced engineers looking for a new challenge.
  • A team player, able to work collaboratively and contribute positively to the wider team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to develop good relationships with colleagues at all levels.
