About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Support and Care Specialist to join our passionate and supportive team at Ambient Support. As a Support and Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing care and support services for individuals with learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with learning disabilities
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household chores
- Encourage and support individuals to participate in community activities and develop their skills and interests
- Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure the needs of individuals are met
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable, but not essential
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS clearance is required for this post
