As an SEN Outreach Tutor with Prospero Teaching, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs. Our mission is to provide high-quality educational support, tailored to the unique needs of each student.

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Tutor to work with students aged KS1-KS4 who require additional support in accessing mainstream education. You will be responsible for delivering Maths and English lessons on a 1:1 basis, either in a local library or the student's home, using a range of teaching strategies to engage and motivate your students.

To succeed in this role, you will need to hold QTS or equivalent and have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils. A strong understanding of SEN and the ability to adapt your teaching approach to meet the diverse needs of each student are essential. Additionally, you must possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate and be willing to undergo regular updates. Two professional child-related references are also required.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver Maths and English lessons on a 1:1 basis
* Assess student abilities and develop tailored lesson plans
* Work collaboratively with students, parents, and other professionals to ensure seamless support
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and outcomes

This role offers a competitive estimated salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on location within the UK.
