We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our Major Projects team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the 132kV electricity network, including overhead lines, underground cables, and substations.
As a Civil Engineer, you will work closely with our expert teams to deliver heat, light, and power for homes and businesses across the Midlands, the Southwest of England, and South Wales.
Key responsibilities include organisation and financial monitoring of individual tasks, minimising risk to the security of the distribution network, and identifying training needs of own and other team members.
Requirements include a minimum 2:2 degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, Sciences, or Data Sciences. A full valid UK driving license is also required due to the amount of travel to our site locations.
The role offers a graduate starting salary of £34,895, a £2,000 bonus, and up to £200 per month accommodation allowance. You will also have access to a tailored development programme, flexible benefits, and volunteering opportunities.
In this role, you will be based at one of our Project Teams offices but will spend a significant proportion of time on site across the dedicated distribution licence area.
