We are partnered with a leading Semiconductor company in Bristol for this exciting 6-month contract opportunity.

About the Role

This position involves working as an on-site Automation Engineer, initially one week per month, gradually transitioning to every other week as the project advances. Key responsibilities include:

  • Enhancing and improving existing automation scripts in a professional development environment.
  • Utilizing automation servers like Jenkins and GitLab with build agents within and outside remote compute farms.
  • Providing support for pathfinding and exploration of various solutions for each use case.
  • Understanding IP developer requirements to develop more effective automation.
  • Contributing to the improvement of the development environment and workflow.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Knowledge of Concept, Design & Verification tools and flows.
  • Familiarity with automation servers such as Jenkins, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.
  • Proficiency in Python, Perl, and version control systems including git, Bitbucket, and ClearCase.
  • Experience with Machine Learning techniques.
  • Familiarity with Unix Shell-Script, planning and ticket systems like Jira, and writing technical documents.
Compensation and Benefits
