Job Title: Female Personal Assistant - LMGHD

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Personal Assistant to join our team at Disability North. The successful candidate will provide support and care to a lady with an Acquired Head Injury in her own home in Hamsterley Mill.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the client with daily living tasks, including personal care and domestic duties
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to enhance the client's quality of life
  • Accompany the client to appointments, social events, and holidays
  • Assist with meal preparation and cooking
  • Help with pet care and maintenance
  • Support the client in maintaining their independence and autonomy
Requirements:
  • Experience in care or support work, preferably with individuals with brain injuries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to working hours
  • Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle
What We Offer:
  • A competitive hourly rate of £10.50, with time and a half for bank holidays
  • A sleepover rate of £60 for overnight shifts
  • Ongoing training and support to ensure the client's needs are met
  • A supportive and collaborative work environment
