The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site surveys and scoping, including scope price build-up, estimating costs and conducting cost analysis, collaborating with engineers, architects, and contractors to discuss and resolve issues, evaluating cost-effectiveness and identifying potential financial risks, supporting PQQ/ITT/ITN submissions, managing subcontractor enquiries, updating estimates and recommendations based on project changes, maintaining records of estimated costs, liaising with multiple customer needs within the department, organising task delivery collaboratively with team members, producing pre-construction deliverables, ensuring quality and efficient delivery throughout the department, aligning with Frontline Construction Recruitment Core Values and ensuring they are upheld, sharing best practices within the department, liaising with management to maintain reporting systems, delivering quotations and meeting customer expectations and SLAs in a timely manner, contributing to department growth through innovative approaches to new opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with multi-trade estimating is essential
  • Able to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and integrate into a team
  • Good IT ability with an analytical mindset
  • Willingness to adapt to new software and systems
  • Prior experience with estimating software is desirable but not necessary
