About the Job
\We are seeking a dedicated and caring Recovery and Support Practitioner to join our team at Turning Point.
\This is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals who require support with mental health issues, including those affected by drug and alcohol misuse.
\As a Recovery Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centered support that helps individuals decrease isolation, increase independence, learn new skills, integrate into the community, and make the most of every new opportunity.
\About You
\To succeed in this role, you will need to have well-honed skills in positive communication and engagement. You should also be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for service users.
\You will have the maturity to work within a positive framework, supporting tenants to maintain a healthy state of mental and emotional wellbeing.
\We value the personal skills and interests you can bring to the role and to the lives of the service users we support.
\What We Offer
\We offer a competitive salary of £26,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes 31 days' paid holiday a year, increasing with each year of service up to 33 days.
