Job Overview

We are looking for a talented Senior Android Engineer to join our Fire TV team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative consumer products by developing and integrating Android-based features and applications.

As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary staff to drive key engineering and business decisions that impact Amazon's long-term vision.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Design and develop high-quality software solutions through working in a diverse, team-focused Agile/Scrum environment.
  2. Lead the investigation, prototyping, and delivery of new and innovative software applications.
  3. Collaborate with the team to ensure designs meet requirements and deliver quality work.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in software development.
  • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
