About the Role

As a Chef apprentice at Greene King, you will have the opportunity to develop your culinary skills and knowledge in a fast-paced kitchen environment. With a passion for food and a keen eye for detail, you will work closely with our experienced chefs to prepare and present high-quality dishes that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to the highest standards, ensuring that all dishes meet our quality and presentation expectations.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with your team to ensure that all meals are prepared and served on time.
• Stay up-to-date with new products, menus, and promotions, and provide feedback to your team and management.

What You'll Learn

• A mixture of face-to-face and remote training sessions, including workshops and webinars, to help you develop your skills and knowledge.
• Reviews every 12 weeks with your Line Manager and Apprenticeship Trainer to track your progress and provide feedback.
• The chance to gain Functional Skills in English and maths, if you don't already have GCSEs.
• A Chef Apprenticeship Qualification upon completion of the 15-month program.
