Cloister Resourcing is seeking an experienced Environmental Lawyer to join our expanding in-house legal team. As an Environmental Lawyer, you will play a key role in providing focused, accurate, and timely legal advice, analysis, and support to our business functions on environmental aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with a wide range of environmental legal matters, including regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • Assisting with legal aspects of resource management, such as environmental impact assessments and permitting.
  • Supporting major strategic programs, including sustainability initiatives and environmental policy development.
  • Assisting with Environmental Information Regulation queries and managing external legal resources.
  • Leading a team of two to three people, providing strategic input, setting policy, and recommending process improvements.

Requirements:
