Field Based Key Account Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to develop a client base within an already highly successful and well-established organisation. The company is looking to expand its presence in the DIY market sector, and the successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business and accessing key procurement contacts within organisations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing targeted key account customers
  • Targeting retail and DIY multiples
  • Targeting dealers and distributors in the UK
  • Securing direct sales from new listings
  • Representing the brand within the market place
  • Being the face of the business at trade shows and events
  • Building long-term relationships with customers
  • Regularly reporting on sales, customer, and market performance

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and driven account manager who works in a consultative and relationship-building manner. They will have demonstrable experience in account management, experience and/or knowledge of mass retail, DIY, and/or distributors, and exceptional relationship-building skills. The company is based in the South West Midlands, and the ideal location for the successful candidate would be within this region.

Salary: £39k + OTE
