We are seeking a skilled and experienced Endoscopy Waiting List Coordinator to join our team at Whittington Health NHS Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, coordinating endoscopy lists and ensuring that patients receive timely and efficient care.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with medical staff, patients, and external bodies. They will also possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • To book and monitor all endoscopy lists, ensuring that all lists are filled to capacity.
  • To advise and link with medical staff on a regular basis regarding endoscopy admissions.
  • To escalate any issues to the team leader and/or the service manager in a timely manner.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, using software packages such as CareFlow EPR and Unisoft.
Requirements
  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £22,000-£28,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. However, please note that salaries may be subject to change, and we reserve the right to adjust salaries in line with trust policies and procedures.
