Finance Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Director to join our client, a pioneering agriculture group on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. The group's reputation is built on trust, excellence, and innovation, and we are looking for someone to oversee the day-to-day accounting of a multimillion-pound business with multiple subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the Board in setting the group's strategy and overseeing the financial aspects of the business plan.
  • Leading the finance functions, providing guidance to senior management on financial strategy and company performance.
  • Financial planning and forecasting, formulating financial targets and budgets.
  • Overseeing all financial reporting, including budgets, forecasts, and statutory reports.
  • Driving efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Managing group policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, and acquisitions.
Requirements:
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant.
  • Leadership experience within a privately owned and entrepreneurial SME.
  • Strategic and commercial focus in previous roles.
  • Collaborative and trusted advisor to shareholders and Board Directors.
  • Results-driven with a hands-on approach.
