Senior Lending Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lending Manager to join our team in Essex. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of specialist lending advisers and ensuring they provide high-quality advice and information to mortgage brokers and their clients.

The ideal candidate will have exposure to commercial mortgages, bridging finance, development finance, second charges, and complex residential and BTL. However, we are open to applications from individuals with experience in a few of these areas and a desire to broaden their knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the team and individual advisers to broaden their individual product specialisms in order to achieve performance targets
  • Liaise with lenders to ensure the quality of case submission by the team and individual team members is of the highest quality
  • Commercial Mortgages
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing, with customers, colleagues, and business contacts
  • Recommend changes designed to improve business performance
  • Provide coaching/support to team members
