Sales Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our team. As a Sales Administrator, you will provide administrative support to our sales team, ensuring the smooth operation of sales processes and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including processing orders and handling customer inquiries.
  • Engage with potential clients through outbound calls to generate new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing customers.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of tenders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell products to existing customers, maximizing sales and revenue.
  • Collaborate closely with the orders team to ensure smooth order processing, accurate stock levels, and timely delivery of products.
  • Maintain accurate records in Excel, including sales data, customer information, and order details.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar sales administrative role is preferred, with a strong understanding of sales processes and customer service.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls to prospective customers to promote products and generate sales leads.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work, especially in preparing tenders and processing orders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
