Housing Solutions Officer

We are seeking a skilled Housing Solutions Officer to join our team in East Sussex. This is a contract position that offers the opportunity to work from home 4 days a week.

This role involves working collaboratively with our small team of 4, providing support and expertise in housing solutions. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drafting S184 Decisions: The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting S184 decisions, ensuring that these are accurate and completed to a high standard.
  2. CreatinPersonal Housing Plans: They will also create Personal Housing Plans, taking into account the individual needs and circumstances of each client.
  3. Maintaining Expertise: A strong working knowledge of Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996 is essential for this role, as is the ability to stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and policy changes.
  4. Housing Management Systems: Experience of utilizing Locata for housing management is preferred but not essential.
Working Arrangements:

This is a part-time position requiring 1 day per week in the office, with the remaining time spent working remotely from home. We offer a flexible and supportive working environment that values work-life balance.
