Join Our Team as a Group Internal Controls & Audit Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Internal Controls & Audit Manager to join our team at Hanami International. As a key member of our finance leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of our Internal Control Framework and ensuring compliance with UK SOX requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our Internal Control Framework
  • Ensure compliance with UK SOX requirements and other regulatory frameworks
  • Collaborate with our Big 4 external partner and internal control specialists to drive internal control improvements
  • Build strong relationships with our Group CFO and Finance Leadership Team
  • Develop and maintain effective internal controls and risk management processes

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) with a background in audit and controls
  • Experience in a Big 4 / Top 10 firm, commercial business, or a mix of both
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and reporting issues faced by global, publicly listed Groups reporting under IFRS
  • Experience of operating in a SOX environment
