Exciting Opportunity for a Systems Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineering Manager to join our team at Edwards abatement solutions in Clevedon. As a world leader in developing and manufacturing abatement systems for the Semi-conductor industry, we offer a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and make a real impact on the environment.

As a Systems Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading and empowering a growing team of Systems Engineers to deliver high-quality solutions for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers, manufacturing, service, and customer representatives, to ensure timely delivery, within budget, and to specification.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a systems engineering strategy compliant with ISO / IEC / IEEE 15288:2023 and INCOSE Handbook (ver. 5)
  • Manage and lead systems engineering activities across applicable projects
  • Recruit, interview, and hire Systems Engineers from internal and external talent pools
  • Provide expert advice and support to engineers, including mentoring and training
  • Manage systems engineering budgets and contribute to forecasting
Requirements
  • Systems Engineering Degree (Bachelors or Masters) or equivalent
  • Chartered Engineer registration or working towards
  • More than 10 years' experience in practical application of best-practice Systems Engineering
  • Experience in implementing a systems engineering approach into a business
