We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Health Your Way. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting a young lady with complex health needs in her family home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with everyday living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and light house duties.
  • Support the individual with activities within the home and some out-and-about, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Administer medication and manage medical equipment, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
  • Organize daily activities, including outings and social events.
  • Perform general domestic duties, such as cleaning and laundry.
  • Hold a full driving license and be willing to use a vehicle for work-related tasks.
  • Undergo an enhanced DBS check, which will be met by the employer.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a care or support role, preferably in a home care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including waking nights and bank/relief staff cover.
