Diversity and Inclusion Specialist

Voluntary Youth Services Devon is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to lead our Phab Club Torbay group as a self-employed group leader.
Key Responsibilities:- Safeguarding and Safety: Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures, attend relevant training sessions, and implement risk assessments and safety protocols.
- Budget Management: Work with the management committee to develop and manage the Phab Torbay budget, maintain accurate accounts, and participate in fundraising and bid writing.
- Committee Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Phab Torbay management committee.
- Inclusion and Diversity: Celebrate diversity and adapt activities accordingly.
As a self-employed individual, you will need to be a person of good character with a successful track record of enabling and/or leading/supporting community groups. Shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a short presentation to the management committee and complete a formal interview.
The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
