Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Exceptional Care: Provide high-quality care to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being in accordance with current best practices and care plans.
- Lead and Motivate the Care Team: Supervise and support the care staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters growth and development.
- Assist with Daily Living Activities: Assist residents with daily living activities, including meals, personal care, and social interaction, promoting independence and dignity.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date resident records, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.
- Identify and Address Training Needs: Identify training needs within the team, providing support and guidance to ensure staff maintain current skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Qualifications and Experience: Qualified and experienced Carer with a minimum of 2+ years in a care home setting, holding a Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care.
- Strong Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, staff, and stakeholders.
