Brilliantin Recruitment is partnering with a family-run business to strengthen their logistics team with additional HGV Drivers.

The company, with over 300 employees across 7 UK sites, has been operational for nearly 60 years and is a leader in UK haulage and storage, frozen food production, and co-packing solutions.

Due to expansion and winning some exciting contracts, they are currently seeking to recruit HGV Class 2 Drivers based at a site in the UK.

There are various shift patterns available, including:

  • Days - Monday to Friday shift
  • Days - 5 on 3 off - Rolling shift
  • Nights - Monday to Friday shift
  • Days or Nights - 4 on 4 off rolling shift

Shifts and start times can be negotiable upon interview.

HGV Class 2 licence is essential.

Job Responsibilities

As an HGV Class 2 driver, your main responsibilities will include:

  • General Haulage
  • Pallet Network multi-drop deliveries/collections
  • Use of the latest technology, including electronic POD devices and electronic walk-around checks (full training will be provided)
  • Maintaining excellent levels of customer service and representing the company's values at all times
  • Ensuring accurate and timely communication with the Transport team
  • Delivering goods in a timely and professional manner
Requirements

Candidates will be fully qualified HGV Class 2 drivers with a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), valid Digi card, and a good understanding of Tachograph and WTD rules.

They will be reliable and punctual, have a flexible approach, and possess good verbal communication skills with excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude.
