**About the Company**

A leading global IT solutions provider is seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer to join their team in Central London. The company is a top-tier investment bank and a leading communications compliance provider, developing innovative solutions for financial clients.

**Job Summary**

We are looking for a skilled Senior Java Engineer with extensive experience in multithreading, low-latency, concurrency, and core Java principles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in big data technologies like Hadoop, Kafka, and Cassandra. The role involves building microservices, using Docker and Kubernetes, and integrating with 3rd party APIs.

**Responsibilities**

* Design and develop high-performance Java applications with multithreading and concurrency expertise
* Collaborate with the team to build and deploy microservices using Docker and Kubernetes
* Integrate with 3rd party APIs and big data technologies like Hadoop and Kafka
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices

**Requirements**

* 5+ years of experience in Java development with a strong focus on multithreading and concurrency
* Proficiency in big data technologies like Hadoop, Kafka, and Cassandra
* Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
* Strong understanding of Java principles and design patterns
