About the Role

We are seeking an experienced technology leader to join our team as Head of Software Engineering. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and regulatory compliance through innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Shape and execute our Operational Change roadmap, setting clear goals to meet business needs.
  • Platform Management: Oversee our Core Platform Technology teams responsible for upgrading critical systems.
  • Collaboration & Partnership: Cultivate strong relationships with senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Strategic Planning: Translate business and technology strategies into actionable priorities.
  • Operational Efficiency: Optimise technology solutions to enhance operational processes.
Requirements
  • Extensive Experience: A minimum of 10 years in leading technology teams, ideally within Financial Services.
  • Technical Proficiency: High technical competence with a focus on software development, front-end technologies, cloud platforms, automation & CI/CD, solution design, and Agile practices.
  • Exceptional Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership Excellence: Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with a focus on providing direction, fostering inclusivity, and building high-performing teams.
